WHAT IT DOES
AEM’s 4 Channel Coil Driver is designed to drive two wire ("dumb") coils in coil on plug applications. It can be used as a replacement for a stock coil driver or when converting to coil on plug in engines that do not need the extra spark energy from a true CDI like the AEM Twin Fire. 

WHY YOU WANT ONE
The AEM 4 Channel Coil Driver is ideal for those swapping to a coil on plug set up or installing an EMS but don't have the power requirements for a CDI or the room (ATV/Motorcycle/Snowmobile). Swapping to a coil on plug can eliminate dwell time issues that can be problematic in stock ignition systems, and the 4 Channel Coil Driver is our most affordable way to drive coils in a coil on plug set-up.
