12 Month Limited Warranty
Advanced Engine Management, Inc. warrants to the consumer that all AEM Performance Electronics products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from date of the original purchase. Products that fail within this 12 month warranty period will be repaired or replaced (at AEM’s option), when determined by AEM that the product failed due to defects in material or workmanship.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the AEM part. In no event shall this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the AEM part nor shall AEM be responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages or cost incurred due to the failure of this product.
Warranty claims to AEM must be transportation prepaid and accompanied with dated proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of product and is non-transferable. All implied warranties shall be limited in duration to the said 12 month warranty period. Improper use or installation, accident, abuse, unauthorized repairs or alterations voids this warranty.
AEM disclaims any liability for consequential damages due to breach of any written or implied warranty on all products manufactured by AEM. Warranty returns will only be accepted by AEM when accompanied with a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Credit for defective products will be issued pending inspection. Product must be received by AEM within 30 days of the date an RMA is issued.
AN AEM WARRANTY CLAIM FORM MUST ACCOMPANY ALL ELECTRONICS WARRANTY CLAIMS. AEM ELECTRONICS Products returned to AEM without an RMA and Warranty Claim Form may be rejected and returned to sender.

AEM ELECTRONICS – ISSUANCE OF RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) NUMBER–
Please note that before we can issue an RMA, it is first necessary for the installer or end user to contact our AEM Electronics tech department. For all products except AEM Engine Mangement Systems please call (800) 423-0046 or e-mail us at email@example.com.

Under no circumstances should a system be returned or RMA requested before the above process transpires.
AEM does not warranty the Wideband UEGO sensor (part #35-2001 & 30-2001 or 35-2003 & 30-2004).
PRODUCTS OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY PERIOD
Any AEM electronics product can be returned for repair if it is out of the warranty period. There is a minimum charge of $50.00 on most electronic products, a minimum of $75.00 on EMS-4 & F/IC systems and a minimum of $100 on Series 2 EMS & Infinity EMS systems for inspection and diagnosis. An additional charge will be incurred for necessary parts used to repair AEM electronic components. AEM will provide you with an estimate for repairs and must receive written or electronic authorization from you before any repairs are made to the product.
