2jz ge na-t rpm dropout issue

i am having an issue with my 2jzge na-t setup. mine starts but has random rpm misfires. will run but randomly will go from lets say 850 then 700 then back to 850 then 690. at my wits end. Closest aem guy has no idea how to make the dizzy work in my setup. I have included my cal and datalog.

Your log doesn't show the

Your log doesn't show the condition you've described. It looks to be a log of cranking but even that doesn't look right. Also, it looks like you captured a log from the Coils/Inj tab which isn't providing very helpful data. What you've described sounds like a problem that happens at idle. Please capture a log that clearly shows the problem happening while logging from the Fuel or Tuning tab.

For starters, your MAP sensor

For starters, your MAP sensor is not reading properly. It shows the same reading engine running or not (about -8PSIg) so that needs to be fixed. Check your MAP sensor wiring and check the sensor itself to confirm it's working properly. Also, the O2 #1 input is not showing any useful data making this impossible to diagnose. Try to fix those issues and come back with an updated log if you're still having problems.

Same thing that I posted back in October - your log doesn't show the problem you're describing.

Yikes. That's horrible.  Stop

Yikes. That's horrible.  Stop cranking!  That's not normal behavior at all and I wouldn't just keep trying to crank through that.  I did see a +3psi spike in your MAP trace and this explains why.  The engine is totally kicking back.  It's not a fuel problem - it's an ignition timing problem.  Your timing is either off all the time (bad timing sync) or the timing is jumping while cranking (would be due to Sync and/or Timing Errors).  Use a timing light to check the timing while you crank the engine over.  It'd probably be a good idea to disable your injectors so the engine won't try to start while you do this testing.  You need to pay attention to the Adv(anced) Pickups tab.  Look for Sync and Timing Errors.

BTW what part number ECU do you have and what is it's Rev/Mod level?

You have the wrong ECU. The 6100 is for 2JZ-GTE cars. 2JZ-GE would use a 6101 which has the correct cam/crank noise cancellation hardware in it to work with the cam/crank sensors in the distributor.

Yes, that is an option. Get

Yes, that is an option. Get in touch with Tech Support at 1-800-423-0043 for info. I don't know if your car is auto trans or manual but please be aware that only the 2JZ-GTE auto trans is supported and the 2JZ-GE auto trans is not.
