What year is your car?  The Infinity sends out a spoofed CAN transmission to keep everything on the network happy including the dash and all of it's warning lights.  If only your ABS light comes on then that might indicate that there's only a problem with ABS itself.  If everything was wigging out then I'd suspect the signal coming from the Infinity but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Also experienced this in a 2003 gti. Abs and traction control lights flash while driving, started since i switched to the infinity box. I do not believe there to be a problem with the module it self. And this spoofed can signal, dose this turn off the abs or is it still activated and would be opperational if necessary?

Did AEM ever release the CAN BUS fix for the 8H ecu?

If I had known that there were going to be so many problems with the 8H ecu on a 1.8T plug and play harness I would have spent the extra money for the Infinity 6
