adding analog sensors (including fuel level) to CD-7 with gaugeART Analog to CAN Converter

AEM recently tested and verified the gaugeART Analog to CAN Converter with the CD-7 dash. This allows you to expand the number of analogs that can be displayed by your CD-7. The devices includes 5 0-5V inputs, 1 digital input dedicated for FlexFuel sensors, and 2 thermistor sensors for fluid temperature (works with sensors available from AEM). This is the perfect solution if you're trying to add an analog sensor - like a factory fuel level sensor.

Setup is easy on the CD-7 using the DBC file available from AEM shown here:

I will be running both the

I will be running both the AEM infinity 508 and the CD-7 display in a 99 civIc. I understand that neither the Infinity or the CD-7 is capable of displaying fuel level from the OEM sending unit or exhaust gas temperature (EGT) in temperature. There are also other displays that I'm interested in such as turn signal, and faking the SRS light during startup. (I'm at a location where even though it is obvious that both airbags are removed from the car, the inspectors still want to see the light coming on and off). Any information will be helpful on this product.

Also, the AEM harness

Also, the AEM harness available during checkout, does it allow direct plug and play in between the Infinity ECU and the CD-7 display to provide direct plug and play?

Who is your German dealer? I

Who is your German dealer? I'm also in Germany... Are the prices reasonable or hiked super high like German dealers? I am looking for an Analog to CAN converter to display fuel level from the factory sensor. The last time I spoke with someone from AEM they told me they were in the process of developing a smaller CAN module other than the 22 pin module already on the market. I only need it for fuel level and maybe EGT, so 22 pin is too big. It appears that no one follows up on these threads to reply to customer concerns so let's see how it goes.
