Aem 6040 jumpers

What should the jumpers be for t1 and cop? Im having it crank and read the t1 sensor but not fire the coils

Instructions for our COP kit

Instructions for our COP kit but the jumper settings would be the same for a T1: http://aemelectronics.com/files/instructions/30-2860%20Coil-On-Plug%20CO...

Still no spark. When cranking

Still no spark. When cranking the coils never change to on either. Should they? Wondering if something is wrong with a driver in the ecu?

Does Stat Sync'd turn on

Does Stat Sync'd turn on while cranking? It won't turn on unless the ECU is happy with the crank and cam signals it's receiving. Coils and injectors will not fire unless Stat Sync'd is on. See HERE for more info.

Then it's purposefully not

Then it's purposefully not firing the coils. This is most commonly caused by an errant limiter. Take a close look at your cal and you'll probably find it.

Try changing option Main

Try changing option Main Relay Input to Switch is Always ON. Right click, Add Option Display, click on Tree tab, go Setup>Advanced Setup>Main Relay Control and add in that options list.

The injector open teeth red

The injector open teeth red bar now drops and you can smell fuel. Injectors are working but the coils still have no spark and dont change to on

Update: coils have flashed on

Update: coils have flashed on once you crank for 5 secs or more. But im still not getting spark at the plug. Could this be a driver?

When you say COP what do you

When you say COP what do you mean? Two pin "dumb" coils or K coils or what? If using a dumb coil then you need an ignitor between the ECU and the coils. If using K coils or some other smart coil, then it's a direct connection to the coil outputs on the ECU.  The only channels you should be looking at are the Ign X Firing Loc channels.  If those change then the ECU is trying to fire the coils.  If they don't change, then the ECU is NOT trying to fire the coils.

The jumper settings are in the instructions I linked you to.  Did you read them?

Some boards skipped over JPC4

Some boards skipped over JPC4 and went straight to JPC5. As long as you have 4 X JPC jumpers, your fine.
