AEM EMS won't log

Hello everyone,

Brand new to the forum and I hope to gain and share some valuable knowledge as I endeavour into the tuning world.

Anyway, I have a 2005 S2000 that has been tuned for about a year now and is going to be turbocharged within the next few months and retuned. I have been learning a good deal about tuning throughout this time and have tinkered with the tune myself with great results. Problem is, all the adjustments have been made real-time because for the life of me, I CANT GET THE DAMN THING TO LOG!  I have gone in and made the proper internal ECU logging settings even just setting it to just log while the engine is running. After running the engine for a few minutes, I download the log and open it in AEMData and its blank every single time... I've even tried basic PC logging while the engine is running and even those logs show up empty. The file size seems to be proportionaly with the log time (~2MB for 5 minutes) but I am just unable to view any data at all.  Has anybody ran into this type of issue? Do I maybe not have some parameter activated to show me the layers? I'll upload my .daq files for others to look at. Any help at all would be appreciated so I can finally get to fine-tuning this thing.

Thanks

Your logs show up just fine.

Your logs show up just fine. How familiar are you with using AEM Data? I suggest opening a Blank project and then loading your data log. You can right click the blacnk screen and populate it with a channels list and a trace graph. This is as basic as it can get. You can reconfigure and create later once you have had some time to familiarize yourself with the software.

All you need to do is grab, drag, and drop the channel data into the trace graph.

I am not familiar at all with

I am not familiar at all with using AEM Data and wrongly assumed that the data would populate once I opened the file. Let me try what you said. Very relieved that the data is there! Thanks!

I thought about it and

I thought about it and realize that we do not have any basic project layout that end users like yourself can use as a starting point to view their data. Try the attached Project for AEMData and let me know what you think. Feel free to share it with anyone you know that may need a hand.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/ymqjnnhgk5nb022/Series%202%20Default.daqproj?dl=0
