AEMdata not seeing some logged USB channels

When viewing Infinity Tuner USB log files in AEMdata, some virtual channels that are definitely logged do not appear in the channel list. When I view the logs in Infinity Tuner, the channels and their respective data are there, when I open the same logs in AEMdata, some of the virtual channels don't appear.  Channels such as NewVE, Inj1Pulse, and also few others that I have created do not appear in AEMdata even though they are definitely in the log file when I view them in Infinity Tuner - yet other virtual channels, such as AirTemp[F] and CoolantTemp[F] do appear.

This only seems to be a glitch with USB logs. If I do a PC log in Infinity Tuner, then they all appear in AEMdata.

Any thoughts?

Thanks-

Hey JCSpiegel,

Hey JCSpiegel,

Virtual channels that are present in Infinity Tuner only exist in Infinity tuner(such as NewVE). You can recreate a virtual/math channel in AEMdata to replicate the ones in Infinity tuner.

Technically you are not logging a virtual channel you are only logging the components of that channel, then the Infinity tuner software is using the components to create the new channel.

Hi AEM_HB

Hi AEM_HB

Thanks for the response - I figured that might be the case and it's simple enough to duplicate the maths.

Curious though - when I log to the PC as opposed to a USB log, the channels do appear in AEMdata. I'm assuming that's because the USB logs only the components and Infinity does the conversion, but a PC log stores the data post-conversion and assigns the value to the new channel.

Much thanks as always!
