ATI Super Damper Trigger Shells for AEM Infinity Systems!

ATI Super Damper Trigger Shells for AEM Infinity Systems!

ATI Performance Products is proud to introduce four new Super Damper shell and complete damper combinations with integrated steel trigger options that are compatible with the new AEM Infinity and other stand alone engine management systems. These fully CNC-machined trigger shells will be available on 6-inch and 7-inch Super Dampers with a 6-rib serpentine option for both. The integrated 24-tooth reluctor wheel eliminates the need for separate trigger wheels that can come loose, and offers more accurate readings. These shells can be ordered installed on a new damper or retrofitted on your current ATI Super Damper. ATI Super Dampers provide balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibrations through all RPM ranges, exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification for competition use, and are fully rebuildable and tunable. ATI Performance Products, Inc. is located in Baltimore, MD, and specializes in producing and maintaining high performance products for street and strip applications. Over the years ATI has earned a reputation for its cutting edge technology, attention to detail, and rigorous testing under race conditions.

I'm looking for a crank

I'm looking for a crank trigger setup for my SR20det. Is this compatible or can you offer me something that is?

What EMS are you using on

What EMS are you using on your SR20?  The trigger wheel that's built into the balancer shell is something that ATI can incorporate into any of their applications.  But that's not to say that you need an ATI balancer just to put a crank trigger onto an engine and in this particular case, you don't necessarily need a crank trigger to run any of our EMS as the factory CAS is supported in one way or another (either the stock CAS wheel or our 12 & 1 replacement wheel).

I have a Microtech LTX10. I

I have a Microtech LTX10. I had the car on the dyno and found that the timing was scattering/gittering really badly when the car was put under load and came onto boost around 4500-5000rpm. I've spoken to Microtech directly and they claim this problem has never been bought to their attention. I changed to a 24-1 trigger wheel in the CAS because some people I spoke to said the Microtech could not keep up with the 360 trigger wheel. This didn't fix my problem. So, my tuner has suggested a crank trigger set up.

Any suggestions to fix this problem would be awesome.

Luckily most engine

Luckily most engine management systems generally work the same so troubleshooting procedures are largely universal.  I can't really give support for a competitor product but regardless of what the system being used is, any reputable tuner should know that checking the cam/crank signals with an oscilloscope is an absolute must.  You could maybe be triggering off the wrong signal edge (rising vs falling) or there could be something wrong with your CAS itself.  Problems that only appear under load are usually indicative of a noise (likely ignition) problem which can be a setup/configuration/wiring issue.  The fact that you still have the problem with the 12 & 1 wheel doesn't really support the idea that OEM wheel doesn't work.  In my experience, the thing that's least understood (the engine management system) is usually what gets blamed for any problems.  Any ways, good luck getting this sorted out.  You should probably work with Microtech to resolve this.
