CAN Configurations for AEM Products

These are the current DBC files for all AEM products with a CAN bus output.

The files labeled "SI" contain channels scaled for SI units; kPa, bar, km/h, Lambda, grams/sec, N-m etc...
The files labeled "US" have the channels scaled using US units; deg F, psi, mph, AFR, lbs/min, ft-lbs etc...

Download the DBC file for the applicable AEM device for your preferred units for importation into DashDesign or a 3rd party program/viewer. Right click on the file to save to your computer.

Is there a reason for

Is there a reason for omitting the 3StepTargetSpark [RPM] from the standard infinity .dbc file? 

Per the infinity manual it shows it as part of message ID 0x01F0A010, Byte 6, however it does not appear to be included in teh .dbc.

The data is there in the dbc file, the naming is just a little different (from the dbc file named "AEM 30-71XX Infinity SI 20170712"):

The channel you are looking for is called "LaunchSlipEngineSpeedIgnLimit"

We tried to make the names in

We tried to make the names in the .dbc files somewhat universal, so they might not match the names in the InfinityTuner software.  The channel 'LaunchSlipEngineSpeedIgnLimit_raw' in the DBC file should be the same as '3StepTargetSpark [RPM]' from the InfinityTuner software.

Thanks guys. I manually entered the address and bit info and got it working. I'll delete and use the supplied data to.keep it consistent. 

 

While not really part of this topic, are there plans to expand the can stream to include items such as the fuel and ignition trim tables that were added in I believe 96.2? Also, raw digital input / status would be of benefit (this may already be included in a  bitwise fashion, however I didn't see it when doing initial dash setup).
