ECU does not communicate with the PC

Hello,

I have nissan 350z 2003 europe version with front wideband lambda sensor.

I bought Infinity plug in ECU 7110-0012 for nissan 350z. I have plugged all connectors including fused wire for battery+.

If I turn the ignition fans is run, after a few seconds the headlight will flash. When I connect the USB cable to the PC nothing happens. Infinity Tuner can not connect to the ECU. I do not see any Infinity device in windows device manager.
I measured the voltage on pins, on C1-10 is permanently +12V, on C1-65 is +12V after ignition on.

The Flash Enable connector

The Flash Enable connector (described in page-11 in the instruction manual) MUST be “jumped” in order to connect to the Infinity and load the initial firmware file. Subsequent firmware upgrades will not require this step.

-Ignition key OFF

-Insert zip-tied jumper shunt connector into Flash Enable connector

-Ignition key ON (RUN position)

-Infinity Tuner | Target | Upgrade Firmware… | Upload downloaded .pakgrp file

-Disconnect Flash Enable jumper connector

-Infinity Tuner | File | Import Calibration Data | Select appropriate base session file

Thanks, ECU communicates. Im

Thanks, ECU communicates. Im download Infinity-8 Nissan 350Z V96  .pakgrp. It seems that the base table (ignition, lambda target) are configured for MAP sensor.

When I change Airflow calculation method from VE to 0-5V MAF it only changes the name of the axis but the numbers remain. Are basic maps configured for MAF or MAP?

Currently you can only use

Currently you can only use MAP (speed density) for the airflow calculation.  The base calibration is configured for this.

I tunned injectors and engine

I tunned injectors and engine running great. AEM has done a good job.

I have a problem with the fan. Water is 110°C (230°F),  oil 105°C and fan dont runing. Where is option for radiator fan? Control is done via CAN-BUS?

Glad to hear it's running

Glad to hear it's running well.

You're correct, the coolant fan is activated via CAN bus and there are two speeds.  The low fan speed will be activated by the "CoolantFan1On" function and the high fan speed will be activated by the "CoolantFan2On" function.  You can configure these functions by going to the "OutputFunctionAssignments" tab of the setup wizard, temporarily configuring one of the lowside output functions as a coolant fan, changing the coolant fan activation temperatures, and then reassigning the lowside output to the function it originally was.

We realize that configuring some of the CAN controlled functions is a bit tricky right now and we've made changes to the next software/firmware release to make things easier.  If you'd like more help with setting up the fans, feel free to give our tech support department a call at 310-484-2322.

First, try cycling perm power

First, try cycling perm power to the Infinity.  This can be done by either disconnecting the battery or unplugging the two connectors from the Infinity.  They don't need to be fully unplugged - just un-ratcheted so that the female terminals disengage from the pins in the connectors.  If this doesn't work, then try using Flash Enable like is described earlier in this thread and reload the firmware.  Be sure to remove the Flash Enable jumper once you're done.

Repeat this process and when

Repeat this process and when it says Could Not Connect, do not retry - just cancel the connection.  Then with the Infinity still powered on, remove the USB cable from the PC and move it to a different USB port.

Okay, well I think we've

Okay, well I think we've exhausted all options to try and get the Infinity back online.  It sounds like it may be locked up and will need to come back to AEM to be serviced.  Email Tech Support at emstech@aempower.com and link to this thread.
