Infinity PNP Ford Coyote Engines using Ford Racing Controls Pack, CD-7 integration

Hi,
I am building a race car, it has a Ford Racing Coyote engine, using a Ford Racing Control Pack by now.
I also have bought an Aem P&P Arnes kit, an Infinity 8 Ecu, Map and IAT Sensors (not instaled yet).
And a custom Twin turbo Kit is waiting to join as well. :)

I want to add a CD-7 Display with the vehicle dynamics Module, without nologging.
With the intention of use the ECU logging capacity.

But I can't see where the AEMnet 4-wire connector is.
Do I need some AEMnet adapter? or am I missing something?

thanks!.

# parts:

AEM 30-3812 Infinity PNP Ford Coyote Engines using Ford Racing Controls Pack.
AEM 30-7101 Infinity 708 ECU 8 ems.

AEM 30-5502 CD-7 Non-Logging Display with Vehicle Dynamics Module ???

Unfortunately the 3812

If you check the pin out for the 3812 harness you'll see that AEMnet (CAN A) is going to pins 58 and 59 on the Ford PCM connector. So you can either pick it up from there or depin those wires from the Infinity and add in new ones if you want. Then you'll just need to supply switched 12v and ground to the CD-7/VDM.

Probably I can use the AIM

Probably I can use the AIM/EPAS port for the AEM Dash, just replacing the conector.
Do you think it will be ok?

No, the EPAS control stuff is

No, the EPAS control stuff is on CAN B. AEMnet is only on CAN A.

There are two CAN networks on

There are two CAN networks on Infinity - CAN A and CAN B. CAN A is the network that has AEMnet on it. CAN B is the network we use for custom app specific CAN integration stuff like EPAS for the Coyote app. So, you can not connect your CD-7 to the CAN B network. It will not display any data. Unless I'm misunderstanding what EPAS you're referring too. EPAS is electric power assist steering on the Coyota. I guess I don't really know what you mean by AIM though.

Thanks for your answer.

Thanks for your answer.
I was doing some research on the AEM and Ford Racing harness diagrams.

Apparently the CanH_Bout (pin C2-41) and CanL_Bout (pin C2-42) of the AEM ECU are not in use on this harness.

The CanL_Aout (pin C1-31) and CanH_Aout (pin C1-32) of the AEM ECU are conected to both "OBD2" and "AIM / EPAS" ports.

This AIM port is used by a dash from this brand or for EPAS.

So, I think probably i could use this port to the CD-7, by changing the connector.
Are you agree?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Ruben.

i am using the ford controls pack as well, but i am also using the ford ecu. I have the odbll adaptor plugged in to a cd7 dash. I am currenty reciving rpm, water temp, battery, and timing, nothing else is showing up on the dash. I also have the 22 channel module, but cant seem to get the data to read to the dash. I am very new to this type of setup. All help is greatly appreciated. PS Is there ayone near philadelphia pa that could set up the dash for me?
