Intermittent SyncState problem

Hi,

Here I have two session and log files from 30-7101 unit. Fairly stock engine except that the DBW has been removed.

The problem is that sometimes the SyncState will not turn on. Are there any settings in particular that can help?

What engine is this exactly?

What engine is this exactly? The timing pattern seems to resemble the S54, but displacement is set to 3.0L and the exhaust cam timing seems to be off by ~30* from normal, which may explain the sync issues you're having.

Yes, this is an S54. I'll have the engine recheck for cam alignment and will report back..

It turns out the exhaust cam

It turns out the exhaust cam was installed incorrectly. Problem solved.
