main fuel map question

How do I get the main fuel map to read actual load/boost?

I have my MAP sensor set to MAP as load in the MAP Sensor options. I also tried MAP as voltage and as well as a few TPS % and voltage. All seem to read the same on the left vertical points. I know this because if I go full throttle with my boost set to 6psi, with the follow me checked, I will tuning at the very top line which is 24 psi...

I would like to be able to tune by actual vacuum and boost. What setting do I choose for this?

If it matters, I am not using boost comp. I am tuning cell by cell.

Configur>units>load units>PSI

Configur>units>load units>PSI

Although, in my opinion you are better off learning to read in KPA values. Just remember that 100kpa represents atmosphere pressure, so when the engine is running, anything under 100kpa is vacuum and anything over 100kpa is boost.

100kpa=14.5psi

Its a bit of a pain to get used to but if you see alot of tuning in your future, you will benefit from becoming fluent in the kpa readings :)

My load unit are set to PSI.

My load unit are set to PSI. That only effects what the reading says on the left vertical column. Not what you are actually tuning in.

What type of MAP sensor are

What type of MAP sensor are you running? Did you select this in the MAP sensor wizard? Is the speed density checked under options?

I have a GM MAP sensor set to

I have a GM MAP sensor set to MAP as voltage currently in the MAP Sensor options. I also tried MAP as load and as well as TPS % and voltage. All seem to read the same on the left vertical points. I know this because if I go full throttle with my boost set to 6psi, with the follow me checked, I will tuning at the very top line which is 24 psi... I'm obviously not at 24psi, but since the throttle is fully depressed, it reads the very top line. Basically reading throttle placement. Not actual load/boost.

This makes my logs completely useless. As soon as I full throttle it reads max boost on my load breakpoints. It made tuning the car a real pain in the ass. Although the car cruises like stock and runs clean AFR in most areas now. I know I can get it better by tuning the actual vacuum/boost.

Does this sound like a failed MAP sensor? This is what I'm leaning towards.

If it matters, I am not using boost comp. I am tuning cell by cell.

I would post my cal. or screenshots of my selected options, but im unsure how to do this.
