MAP values in AEM-Data

Hello,

I am using the Intifinity 6, when viewing my logs in AEM-Data, the MAP values are showing from 1-100.....any idea how to fix it to reflect showing the vacuum range?

Thx

I played with the "limits" of

I played with the "limits" of the signal, however, I think when the log is saved the negative values are truncated. Not sure what is causing this!

I can see it in the Infinity tuner displaying the vacuum portion but not showing up in the data!

Thx for your input

I thought of that as well but

I thought of that as well but no it is not it. ~240 KPA = ~34 psia and I am not running near this lvl.  Very strange I know!

I have seen another area where the units are sometimes not applied globally as expected….for example, if you change the temp reference from [F] to [C], some of the cals for idle control that are a function of coolant temp don’t change, or the actual coolant temp signal doesn’t update.  This a different discussion obviously.

Let me know if you can think of anything else!

Thx

So what units are you viewing

So what units are you viewing in the Infinity Tuner software?  What are typical min and max MAP readings that you get?  What does this translate to in AEMData?  Does the trend of the reported MAP value in AEMData at least look correct?  You may have to post a log and your AEMData project file for us to check out.  Or at least a couple screen shots.

Typically range in Infinity

Typically range in Infinity is somewhere from -15 to 24 MAP [psig]. While AEM data is showing 1 to ~250. Unfortunately the logs aren’t on this computer but later on I can take some screen shots and share the data.

Thanks!

I stand corrected, you were

I stand corrected, you were right those were kpa values.... although I intentionaly looked for it but must have missed it...somehow!

I am still wondering why I not being able to view this channel (see attached jpeg) which is configured in psi?

Thx

Because the base recorded

The base MAP units are in processed and logged as KPA.  Basically, the Infinity runs in KPA.  Showing other units is just math.  If you want to see MAP in PSI, you'll probably need to create a math channel in AEMData.
