protect coolant issue?

Hi,

long story short i purchased a mk4 golf runing AEM infinity 508 along with a 3903 harness, instead of running a 1.8t it is running a 3.2v6 and was running fine and mapped to suit etc.

anyway over winter i took it upon myself to re wire the car (was not done well by the previous owner) and did away with the 3903 harness in favour for a simple 80 pin plug.

i am nearly finished and in the process of getting the car running etc, all seems well however when i rev above 5000rpm the car seems to go into some sort of safemode? and i get very little pedal response, i let the car get to temp before reving it of course, from what i have gathered the AEM 508 has some protection features?

i am not clued up on standalone and alot of this is new to me, i have downloaded ifinity tuner and taken a short log (unsure on how to upload) under the protect dropdown coolant protect is in red and displaying 1234?

any ideas?

"1234" is displayed when you look at a saved session with no log data.  You need to actually catpure logged data (CTRL + L to start and the same thing to stop) and then scroll through the log with the cursor to see recorded data.  In the Protect tab, you might find a table named CoolantProtectRPMLimit.  You can see all the protection functions in that tab plus monitoring the Spark and Injector Probability channels will tell you if the ECU is purposefully cutting spark or fuel.  Try giving those a look.
