Reading a BOSCH 8-pin MAF sensor - reading duty cycle and frequency

Is it possible to read from a 8-pin BOSCH MAF sensor which can do following:

"The new sensor measures the intake air’s humidity. A second air temperature sensor is housed in the assembly to accurately measure the air temperature at or very near the humidity sensor. The ECM uses the air temperature to calculate the air humidity, which is displayed by the scan tool as Intake Air Humidity (%). The signal is transmitted on the circuit as duty cycle (%). The intake air temperature sensor 2 is transmitted to the ECM as a frequency (Hz), on the same circuit as the humidity signal. The scan tool displays the IAT sensor 2 in degrees (°C /°F) and frequency (Hz)."

Is the Infinity 508 able to read a duty cycle and frequency signal? The flexsensor should have that ability...but I just find the frequency setup for Digi4 channel. Any help to the duty cycle reading and converting in a humidity signal topic would be appreciated.

You can read both channels of

You can read both channels of the sensor into the Infinity, but you probably wont be able to assign them to specific channels to use in a VE calculation.

Hello John, thanks for your replay. Which ports of the AEM Infinity would you suggest to read frequency and duty cycle of signal output of the 8-pin MAF?

The Infinity-508 ECU has two

The Infinity-508 ECU has two pins that can measure frequency and duty cycle. C1-28 (Dig3 [Hz] / Dig3_Duty)    and C1-29 (Dig4 [Hz] and Dig4_Duty).

Hope that helps,

SB
