AEM Water/Methanol Injection System features a heavy-duty, waterproof, internally bypassed high-pressure injection pump designed for engine bay or frame rail mounting, including locations exposed to the elements. The pump provides quiet, smooth operation and features integral hose fittings, EPDM seals and a Santoprene diaphragm for consistent fluid delivery and corrosion resistance. The system is available with a compact 1.15-gallon tank featuring an anti-starvation reservoir and integrated conductive low-fluid sensor designed to prevent false readings caused by debris. A simplified wiring harness uses a positive-lock connector, color-coded wires, integrated pump power and ground circuits, and an additional wire for an optional on/off fluid solenoid. The progressive controller features revised linear flow control to better match water/methanol delivery to engine demand for improved charge-air cooling and detonation control. Boost-dependent and multi-input 0-5V/frequency controllers feature large adjustment knobs, an integrated fuse, status light, test button and enhanced splash resistance. Integrated Boost Safe monitors the injection system for voltage-related faults, bad connections, broken wires, pump overheating and high or low voltage, providing an output that can be used for failsafe strategies such as a warning light, reduced boost or ignition, or switching fuel maps. Combined with the low-fluid sensor, Boost Safe can help protect the engine before the system runs dry. The system also includes a precision-machined billet-aluminum injector with integral check valve, interchangeable 250, 500 and 1,000 cc/min nozzles, 20 feet of injection tubing and an LED dash light for system status and low-fluid warnings. Tank-less systems are also available.
